Female fans of Catherine Alliott are invited to roll over and step into the world of the Hertfordshire based author, for Penguins new video banner ad.

Running across our female and lifestyle channels, the ad features a video of Catherine showing us round the village that inspired her to write her latest novel, A Rural Affair.

The ad also features a special overlay page, which features 12 previous Catherine Alliott books and links to buy them.

Fuerzabruta, which is Spanish for Brute Force, is a live show featuring mind-blowing visual effects, moving walls and one particular watery scene which is performed just a few feet above the audience.

Described as ‘a theatrical experience that floods the senses’ the show is running at the Roundhouse from the 27th of December until the 26th of January 2013.

Mediacom Scotland have commissioned two new video banner ads for garden equipment company Husqvarna, one for their Automower, the other for their Ride On Mower.

The campaign is running across our male lifestyle and sport channels and both creatives were designed and built here at Silence.

Both ads feature video clips which show the concept and design of each mower and all the characteristics of both products.

Some of my favourite things are American. Richard Brautigan is one of my favourite novelists, for example. And when I was a teenager, albums by Nirvana and Jane’s Addiction shone a light on a world outside of my home town of Macclesfield. Although I know very little about comedy I’m certain that my favourite comedian is Bill Hicks. I have all his live albums and I laugh heartily to them annually. So I was delighted when, last night, while browsing Akira the Don’s website – he’s British, by the way, Welsh, in fact – I discovered that a lost Bill Hicks performance had made it onto You Tube.

Mediacom’s video banner ad for The Morgana Show DVD features 3 sketches from the Channel 4 comedy show.

Designed and built here at Silence, this ad is running across our teen and female lifestyle channels.

Originally broadcast in late 2010, The Morgana Show includes impressions of celebrities like Cheryl Cole, Dannii Minogue and Fearne Cotton by Morgana Robinson, a comic that Channel 4 describe as “reminiscent of Kenny Everett in his prime, but without the beard”. The show also stars Morgana’s own comic creations, like Gilbert, an awkward teenage boy making a TV show about this life that his grandad films for him.

Derren Brown fans in London and the South East are the audience for this video banner ad for the London leg of the master illusionist’s Svengali tour.

This is Derren’s 5th live stage show in the last ten year, and, as he explains in the ad, you can expect audience participation, humour and “the feeling of wonder”.
